A Non-Catchy Title…

Alot of the posts I do, I generally try to use a catchy title that makes you want to read it. This time though, I decided to use a non-catchy title. HaHa…

It has been a while since any of us kids have posted, but if you read our prayer letters it kind of explains what has been happening. Although you don’t get the Drew Burton version. My version would be alot shorter being the introvert I am. Everything has been going pretty good so far though. God has blessed and three more churches have  picked us up for support. I cannot wait to get to PNG.

We are staying in Texas right now with the Hermances. We are thankful that we have friends who are willing to let us stay with them. While we are here we have been going to Victory Baptist Church where Bro. Danny Bezet is the Pastor. Being around      Bro. Bezet has been a fun experience. At S.MI.T.E he is the bad guy. He, and everyone else, plays it up about how mean him and Bro. Randy are. ( Which I do have to say is part of the fun at Smite, seeing all the new people scared of them.) My first year I was scared so bad, Austin Millette told me all the horror stories, I was scared that first year. Now that I have been able to spend some time around Bro. Bezet he really isnt mean. (Now the only reason I am saying that is because not too many smite people look at my post, at least I dont think so…) He even gave me a gift! I was surprised. I have enjoyed my time here in Baytown.

It was also fun being able to go to Bro.Carr’s church. On the way back, from Mississippi, was also fun because we were able to stop by Raising Canes (The best chicken you will ever taste! I even got a souvenir cup. I was excited) and we were able to meet up with Steven Bedwell and the Way family, minus Jake. We were excited to meet up with the Way’s again. Abby and I got to stay at their house after Blitz last year. We can’t wait to go back to Baton Rouge and see some of the other blitz members again.

As this post comes to a close I am going to say something I did not think I would ever say. One of my favorite condiments now is Taco Bell hot sauce. I did not think I would ever say that. I always joke around with some friends that Taco Bell is nasty, but I actually enjoy their hot sauce. We were in Michigan and went to the store to buy hot sauce but they dont have the same ones we have in San Diego so we decided to buy the Taco Bell one. I love it now. I wont say this to my friends though or else I would have to go back on my word.

There also is a comment box below. If you would like to say something, even if it just to say hi, you could do that if you would like.

Time for… Fact of the Day!

*1,111,111 x 1,111,111 = 1234567654321*

I thought that was pretty interesting. I wonder how long it took someone to figure that out…

Well until next time,

Drew Burton
