Dear Friends, Pastors and Faithful Supporters,

Phil 4:10a: But I rejoice in the Lord greatly…

Last month was one of the busiest yet. Again we were in the frigid cold of the North and in the warmth of the South. We thank God continually the he has answered your prayers in that he protects uses we travel this great country visiting churches.

We also rejoice in that we have another 3 churches that have partnered with us in financial support as well as several new individuals that have chosen to give to us regularly as we press toward Papua New Guinea, and the lost in the remote villages.

When we left San Diego with zero supporting churches, even my faith could not have seen God do what he is currently doing with us. He has exceeded what I could have imagined. That must be why he asks us not to lean unto our own understanding, but to trust in Him.

We have had the opportunity to have a home base while we are in Texas, staying with some dear friends. we havebeen able to go soul winning on several occasions. During this time we have seen three people profess Christ while door knocking. God truly is good in tha he is not willing that any should perish here or in PNG.

Please continue to pray with us as we ask God for more churches to partner with us and also for safety as we travel.

Duet 10:7: From thence the journeyed…

This month we will be in Texas for most of the month traveling to different churches in the Houston area. We will then leave towards the end of the month for Arizona.

From the Field this month…

Last month Brother Russell took a week long trip to do a survey of some different villages for possible church plants. He was encouraged to find villages asking for someone to teach them. He has a 10 page journal I have posted on the web site if you would like to see it go to: www.pngmissions.com look for the link for the blog post – Morehead Survey Trip.

Staying connected with us…

As we travel around we always want to keep you up to date. On our web Site we have a blog we have posted to so that you can see deputation from our eyes as well as other random thoughts. You can find our posts at “www.pngmissions.com”.

And finally Burton Bloopers…

As the kids where sitting around the table talking on of our children said, “Did you ever think about your nose? It’s a weird part of your body! I mean what is its purpose?” When a friend sitting with them said, “to smell with, duh!” needless to say the whole table erupted in laughter.

What a privilege we have to serve the King!

In His Service
