Dear Pastor/Church,

Hello, I am missionary Jason Russell, I have been church planting on the field of Papua New Guinea since June of 2000 and God has graciously blessed our work for Him here.

Our first work, on the Island of Daru, has a national Pastor, a growing church, an active Bible School, and a vision for church planting among the coastal villages.  They are in the process of planting several churches presently.

We have been engaged in planting churches among the mainland villages since 2005. The scope of our ministry is now ready to move into its next phase. Whereas we have spent the last several years adding, we are now ready to begin multiplying, and we anticipate the Burton family becoming key players in this step.

Brother and Sister Burton come from our home church in San Diego, California; Lighthouse Baptist Church where Doug Fisher is our Pastor.  They have been active in nearly every aspect of the ministry at Lighthouse including both of them graduating from the Bible Institute.

I believe that God has made and developed the Burtons for this next phase of ministry here in the South Fly District of the Western Province.  They will be directly assisting us in broadening our Discipleship and Training ministries.  Whether that is in the Sunday School, Bible Institute, Discipleship, Radio, or Mentoring Ministry, the Burtons will be instrumental in reaching the South Fly District for Christ, and establishing Independent Baptist Churches throughout.

If you have had any amount of time to visit with the Burtons, then I know you would concur that God has raised them up for such a time and for such a ministry as this.  I ask that you give them your support and send them to us quickly.
