Living on the Field – (sleeping)

The nets are an irritation at times. They hold in heat, especially when dusty, and sometimes tear. Ana’s vigilance to keep our nets clean and maintained has protected us from the nasty Malaria sickness these past ten years in country, and allowed us to be more comfortable.

Living on the Field (Eating & Drinking)

Today, we still do not have 24-hour power, but that is ok. When the power man does have diesel, the town power will come on, on Tuesdays from 8am to 12 noon and on Thursdays from 1pm to 4pm. It is also on most evenings from 6 to 11 as well. When we first came here, there was no town power to speak of.

Russell Prayer Letter – January 2012

Our theme for 2012 is “Follow On.” Hosea 6:3 “Then shall we know, IF we follow on to know the LORD…”
By God’s grace our people here in Wipim will understand more about their great Saviour as we “Follow on to know the LORD…” Our two church plants are also following this theme, and we anticipate some Real Growth as we “Follow On” together.

I ask that you give the Burton family a sincere consideration in your missions program and then send them to us quickly. You can reach him at (619) 944-1086 or check out their website at www.uttermostbaptistmissionspng.com

Educational Building – Wipim
The building project is now visible. For the past several months we have been cutting timber, mostly unseen by our church family, but now the foundation is done and the walls are beginning to go up this week. By God’s grace the building will be usable within the [...]
